In 2008, TEMPEST PRODUCTIONS produced coast-to- coast readings of BODY & SOLD, a documentary play by DEBORAH LAKE FORTSON, which raises awareness about the sexual exploitation and trafficking of American children and teens.
Soroptimist Clubs of The Valley came together to host an event to raise awareness and discuss an issue that is close to each of us and bigger than all of us.
The production was held Monday, March 3rd at the Phoenix Theatre, Central and McDowell, followed by a panel discussion. Thanks to all who joined us for the performance of Body and Sold and saw first-hand how this issue affects all of us in Arizona.
